Business Development Manager - Latin America

Both companies serve a range of industries in the United States and worldwide. RTS International was launched in 2004 to develop customized financial solutions for international clients exporting product to the U.S., Canada and Asia. Since that time, RTS International has grown to serve more than 300 customers in more than 35 countries.

The overall mission is to identify and procure new business throughout the territory.  This includes developing relationships with manufacturers, exporters, and business partners and agents throughout the region; presenting the full range of financial solutions to potential customers, and networking through trade associations, business associations, etc., to increase awareness of RTS International’s financial services.


Duties:

  • Direct solicitation of new business opportunities;
  • Impact company growth utilizing a variety of methods including cold calls, networking, developing agent relationships, lead generation, etc.;
  • Conduct personal, on-site visits with current and potential clients and/or agents; up to 50% travel is expected for this role
  • Regular collaboration with agent partners
  • Work directly with sales staff in to develop customers, follow up on leads, and close business deals;
  • Any special projects which may be assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 
Requirements:

  • Fluent proficiency  in Spanish and English is required - Native Spanish proficiency, English business proficiency

  • Experience (2 years min) selling products in-country in Latin America. Financial product experience is a plus
  • Experience in Global business
  • Familiarized with banking financial instruments and credit insurance, a plus
  • Ability to support agents and brokers’ sales efforts
  • Consultative and solution selling
  • Ability to present a customized value proposition
  • International Factoring experience, a plus
  • Prospective pipeline management
  • CRM tools
  • Majored in Finance, Marketing or Economics related fields
  • Travel a minimum of 30% of the time
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products
